D. Frank Designs, more than just Furniture...

About the furniture designer, Debbie Frank – a native of Wisconsin, an unsuspecting place for a gal to find inspiration for fashion.  Debbie had dreams as a girl to be a fashion designer, not knowing that her true passion would be found in the furniture industry.  For over the past seven years, her experience has been designing and ordering over 4 million dollars worth of custom and semi-custom furniture.   She primarily worked with clients out of catalogs and drawings designing fully custom pieces .  Debbie has become a true furniture guru, especially in the area of upholstery.  She prides herself as having a critical eye for sewing, tailoring, materials used, and fabric placement.  She has been a product mentor to designers and other furniture stores owners around the country.  She had hopes to open a boutique where she could further build on the expertise that she gained from working with over 200 factories.  She saw an opportunity to apply high fashion couture to furniture design and interiors.  And in late 2006, she was approached by an Italian-trained upholstery craftsman who has partnered with her  to create her own couture furniture line of upholstery.   A dream that became reality in March 2007 with the opening of D. Frank Designs and the launch of the upholstery line “The Collection”.

The boutique is a full-service furniture resource.  It offers fully custom furniture, the ability to order from over 60 other furniture sources in dining, bedroom, occasional, accessories, art, lighting, and floral.
